- Tamarind – Small gooseberry size
- Red chilly – 3-4 nos
- Urad dal – 1 tsp

- Hing / Asafetida – 1 pinch.
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Salt & water – As needed.
- Heat a kadai with a tbsp of oil and add red chilli, urad dal, chana dal and hing.
- Roast till the dals turn golden brown. Set aside.

Sauting chayote only with oil or we have to boil it with water ?
ReplyDeleteYes you should saute well till it cooks. No need to boil. If you want to reduce the oil, then you can boil with little water after sauting.
