This easy, 5-minute garlic mayonnaise dip is a delicious no-cook dipping sauce made with eggless mayo, tomato ketchup, olive oil, and aromatic Italian herbs. Perfect for pairing with crunchy nachos, potato chips, french fries, or potato wedges!

Usually nachos are served with salsa, cheese sauce, bean dip, or sour cream. But when you want an instant, restaurant-style dip without cooking or lighting the stove, this garlic-flavored mayonnaise dip is a lifesaver. Made with simple pantry staples, it comes together in just five minutes.
We love having chips with plain mayonnaise, but pepping it up with garlic, oregano, basil, black pepper, red chilli flakes, and extra virgin olive oil takes it to the next level. Raksha and Sendhil loved relishing it with salted nachos and potato chips for our weekend evening snack. You can also serve it alongside potato wedges, nuggets, or french fries.

Quick Notes for US & Abroad Kitchens
- Mayonnaise Variety: Use store-bought eggless mayo (such as Hellmann’s Vegan, Dr. Oetker FunFoods, or Vegenaise) or regular whole-egg mayonnaise based on your dietary preference.
- Garlic Choice: Garlic powder blends smoothly without any raw bite. If using fresh garlic, grate or crush it very finely with a microplane grater to prevent sharp raw chunks.
- Consistency Adjustment: If the dip is too thick for dipping light potato chips, whisk in 1 tablespoon of lukewarm water or olive oil until you reach your desired ribbon consistency.

Thank you :)
This is excellent!
Very good. Naturally I was at home and had to substitute. Had no pepper, chili, or basil. Used 1/2 tso. onion powder and garlic powder. Next time I'm going with 1/2 less Catsup. Tasted like french onion dip. All good.
Thank you. That's a nice variation
I doubled the recipe and ate it with lime tortilla chips and oh my goodness what a great flavor combination!! 😍
